Fully Awake & Fully At Rest

{Colour Opening Night}

I just had the most amazing time in Sydney. It was great to have a mini break but what was even more exciting was the opportunity to go to Colour Conference TwentyEleven. There are so many stories to tell, pearls of wisdom and hilarious things to share so I thought I would blog about my time away, hopefully you too will feel
Full:Inspired:A Lioness Arising:Taking Ground:Fearless:Loved:Chosen:Called:Shouting It Louder:Enjoying the waiting room:In awe of an AMAZING God:YES!

The first night Ps Bobbie shared an incredible word around this thought: Fully Awake & Fully At Rest. As I am now awake Perth time 7am Sydney time 10am, feeling a lil weird... I was reminded that each day we are to greet the 'Son' as we greet the morning sun. So, here I am up... pondering life... thinking of the awesome words spoken out into heavenly places over and into my life the last few days...and of course greeting the morning of the start of another working day.

Isaiah 60 {Amplified Bible}
1ARISE [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you--rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!

2For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness [all] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you [O Jerusalem], and His glory shall be seen on you.

3And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.

4Lift up your eyes round about you and see! They all gather themselves together, they come to you. Your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be carried and nursed in the arms.

5Then you shall see and be radiant, and your heart shall thrill and tremble with joy [at the glorious deliverance] and be enlarged; because the abundant wealth of the [Dead] Sea shall be turned to you, unto you shall the nations come with their treasures.

Isaiah 60 {The Message}

People Returning for the Reunion
1-7 "Get out of bed, Jerusalem! Wake up. Put your face in the sunlight.
God's bright glory has risen for you.
The whole earth is wrapped in darkness,
all people sunk in deep darkness,
But God rises on you,
his sunrise glory breaks over you.
Nations will come to your light,
kings to your sunburst brightness.
Look up! Look around!
Watch as they gather, watch as they approach you:
Your sons coming from great distances,
your daughters carried by their nannies.
When you see them coming you'll smile—big smiles!
Your heart will swell and, yes, burst!
All those people returning by sea for the reunion,
a rich harvest of exiles gathered in from the nations!
And then streams of camel caravans as far as the eye can see,
young camels of nomads in Midian and Ephah,
Pouring in from the south from Sheba,
loaded with gold and frankincense,
preaching the praises of God.
And yes, a great roundup
of flocks from the nomads in Kedar and Nebaioth,
Welcome gifts for worship at my altar
as I bathe my glorious Temple in splendor.

I love how the message bible puts it... Just beautiful.

Ps Bobbie was urging us to be in OUR place. The place where God has called us. "God is whispering to us in out place. Everyone has their place in the grand scheme of things."

Years + Strength +Influence =Strategy

Being merely awake is not enough. Being awake in the knowledge that things (horrible) things are taking place in our world, there is a shaking on the earth and we are living in crazy days. We need to not just realise that it's happening but pray for strategy to DO something about it.

Empathy is Identity & Loyalty towards. We are mosaic of solution (girls all over the world, different shapes, colours, sizes and gifts) and there is a world we need to AWAKEN.

Put your face into the sunshine!

We can change the world by:
1. Living LOUDER than what we do know.
2. Living from a place of rest and certainly not fear. Body is sleeping but our heart is to stay awake.
3. Understanding the power of together.

A love note from God. Read from the perspective that HE is your beloved. Just devine!

Song of Solomon 5 {Amplified Bible}

1I HAVE come into my garden, my sister, my [promised] bride; I have gathered my myrrh with my balsam and spice [from your sweet words I have gathered the richest perfumes and spices]. I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk. Eat, O friends [feast on, O revelers of the palace; you can never make my lover disloyal to me]! Drink, yes, drink abundantly of love, O precious one [for now I know you are mine, irrevocably mine! With his confident words still thrilling her heart, through the lattice she saw her shepherd turn away and disappear into the night].

2I went to sleep, but my heart stayed awake. [I dreamed that I heard] the voice of my beloved as he knocked [at the door of my mother's cottage]. Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my spotless one [he said], for I am wet with the [heavy] night dew; my hair is covered with it.

3[But weary from a day in the vineyards, I had already sought my rest] I had put off my garment--how could I [again] put it on? I had washed my feet--how could I [again] soil them?

4My beloved put in his hand by the hole of the door, and my heart was moved for him.

5I rose up to open for my beloved, and my hands dripped with myrrh, and my fingers with liquid [sweet-scented] myrrh, [which he had left] upon the handles of the bolt.

6I opened for my beloved, but my beloved had turned away and withdrawn himself, and was gone! My soul went forth [to him] when he spoke, but it failed me [and now he was gone]! I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer.

7The watchmen who go about the city found me. They struck me, they wounded me; the keepers of the walls took my veil and my mantle from me.

8I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if you find my beloved, that you tell him that I am sick from love [simply sick to be with him].

9What is your beloved more than another beloved, O you fairest among women [taunted the ladies]? What is your beloved more than another beloved, that you should give us such a charge?

10[She said] My beloved is fair and ruddy, the chief among ten thousand!

11His head is [as precious as] the finest gold; his locks are curly and bushy and black as a raven.

12His eyes are like doves beside the water brooks, bathed in milk and fitly set.

13His cheeks are like a bed of spices or balsam, like banks of sweet herbs yielding fragrance. His lips are like bloodred anemones or lilies distilling liquid [sweet-scented] myrrh.

14His hands are like rods of gold set with [nails of] beryl or topaz. His body is a figure of bright ivory overlaid with [veins of] sapphires.

15His legs are like strong and steady pillars of marble set upon bases of fine gold. His appearance is like Lebanon, excellent, stately, and majestic as the cedars.

16His voice and speech are exceedingly sweet; yes, he is altogether lovely [the whole of him delights and is precious].This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem!

Crazy Love

Location: Sandalford Margaret River

There are only a few people that I would LOVE to see live before I die, he is one of them.

What an awesome time. Driving down to Margs (by our own personal driver Mr S) is always stunning as you enter the wine region of WA. Sitting amongst 12,000 odd people, we devoured a gorgeous picnic prepared by one and only gourmet chef, Mrs S and sat listening to the smooth tones of the amazing Mr Buble. It was just devine. What a way to spend a long weekend. Aah! My tummy and ears are full of scrumptious things. Back to reality... work tomorrow. Alas, I can die a happy little lass.
